Boise First UCC 2023 Alternative Gift Market

The Idaho Immigrant Resource Alliance has been chosen as a recipient to speak at the Alternative Gift Market. The theme this year is climate and environment.

What is an Alternative Gift Market? This is a chance for you to give a monetary gift on behalf of another. So instead of giving Uncle John a pair of socks, he will receive a card that a donation was made in his name to a participating organization. This event offers alternative gift ideas outside of the usual retail items we spend money on every year.

This year’s event will be held after worship on Sunday, November 19^th at 11am. A representative from each organization will be present to answer questions and provide information on the needed services they provide.
